Description
Summary:碩士 === 中原大學 === 應用物理研究所 === 86 === In 1985,T.T.Chou,C.N.Yang and E.Yen proposed partition temperature model to describe particle distribution of high energy collision. The model is a mathematical consequence of energy conservation from statistical ensemble calculation. The model gives a good explanation to particle distribution at CERN energy 540 GeV collider and also gives a physical picture about single particle collision. In this thesis,we apply the partition temperature model to the CERN ISR collider data. The energy at ISR is between 30 and 60,much lower than 540 GeV,and there has been some straightforward applications of this model to ISR.The ISR data has higher variance value of invariant cross section than the value fitted by partition temperature model at small rapidity y,and the scaling behavior is also different. After including the geometric effect,we find a function with desired scaling behavior which can better describe the ISR data. This function is the limiting form of partition temperature model at small rapidity y.
