| Summary: | 碩士 === 中國醫藥學院 === 中國醫學研究所 === 86 === The term " Zhu You " was first found in " Yi Jing Bian Qi Lun " in "Su Wen". Zhu You therapy had been broadly applied by general population in ancient China. It had been built on as a specialty from Sue Dynasty to Ming Dynasty for nearly thousand years. Unfortunately, it had been suppressed by practitioners of orthodoxical medicine and its historical development seldom studied by scholars.
Our study revealed the development and methodology content in Zhu You therapy by inductive method, comparative method, and synthetic method. We found that it had been well-emphasized in ancient times. It could reach significant effects in skin diseases and diseases of unknown origin. The methodological development of Zhu You therapy has closely associated with the cultures of Taoism and Buddhism, and reached the top in Tang Dynasty. Although the government had abandoned the specialty of Zhu You therapy since Ming Dynasty, this therapy have being very popular among common people till now.
Zhu You therapy has ever played an important role in traditional Chinese medicine. It is worth while practitioners in orthodoxical medicine to pay more attention and is worth while further studying by scholars in associated subjects.
