It is well known that the western medicine approach could not control DM very well and has complications. Liu, S.S (1993) and Chen, C.C(1994) pointed out that Chinese medicine approach can let DM under control and avoid complications. The purpose of this article is to investigate the diagnostic procedures for DM patients those who are qi-vacuity. The paper proposed that fatigued spirit, lack strength and vacuous pulse are two main criteria.
