There are two major steps in this study. The first is to develop a Group Support System, and the other is to conduct a series of experimental sessions in major universities. The experiment was conducted in a face - to - face meeting environment with five persons. A total of thirty - two groups participated in the study. The result of this research indicate that there is a positive effects between decision difficulties and the hypertext GSS. Thus, linear information representation GSS performed better in the easy task in perceived decision quality and satisfaction.
