| Summary: | 碩士 === 國立中正大學 === 資訊管理研究所 === 86 === The purpose of this study is to investigate the effects of types of information reoproesentation and task difficulties on the decision making processes and outcomes in a Group Support System environment. There are two major steps in this study. The first is to develop a Group Support System, and the other is to conduct a series of experimental sessions in major universities. The experiment was conducted in a face - to - face meeting environment with five persons. A total of thirty - two groups participated in the study. The result of this research indicate that there is a positive effects between decision difficulties and the hypertext GSS. Thus, linear information representation GSS performed better in the easy task in perceived decision quality and satisfaction. However, the effects of efficiency were not significant in the previous situation.
