Such multipath effects can be reducedby antenna pattern diversity. this thesis is to design and implement at 5.2 GHz beamformer includes FET single-pole- double-throw switches, power splitters,and phase shifters, which are simulated with microwaveCAD tools for optmal performance. The measurement results show that the each output pairs has power imbalance within +/- 1.5dB and phase imbalance within +/- 2.5 degree.The isolated ports have at least 30 dB isolation andall ports has at least 9 dB return loss.
