碩士 === 國立雲林科技大學 === 資訊管理技術研究所 === 85 === 　　As the network environment and the computer functions are improved, the role of the computer is changing from supporting individual work into supporting group work. The new research fields. CSCW (Computer-Supported Cooperative Work) and Groupware, appeared. The electronic brainstorming system is a topic on CSCW and Groupware. There are three main steps in the conventional electronic brainstorming systems: Generating Ideas, Editing Ideas and Evaluating Ideas, but there are many weaknesses in those steps. Additionally, the two purposes of electronic brainstorming, to stimulate participants'' thinking and to lead participants'' thinking, are not fully accompished in the conventional electronic brainstorming systems, and the method to support the process of electronic brainstorming is not provided. 　　In this paper, we propose an electronic brainstorming method to support the process of electronic brainstorming. This method consists of the following three steps: Gathering Data, Generating/Editing Ideas and Evaluating Ideas. It mainly improves the weaknesses in the steps of conventional electronic brainstorming systems and accomplishes the two mentioned purposes. Furthermore, To make the best use of the proposed method, We develop an electronic brainstorming system based on this method. This system is developed on the Internet by using the techniques of WWW (World Wide Web), HTML (Hyper Text Makeup Language), CGI (Common Gateway Interface ) and so on. Consequently, the proposed electronic brainstorming method and its support system are helpful to raise the efficiency of electronic brainstorming.
