Description
Summary:碩士 === 大同工學院 === 機械工程學系 === 85 === ABSTRACT This is a study of the characteristics of a one-degree-of- freedom magnetic levitation system. The dynamic behaviors of a two-side controlled cylinder suspended magnetically in uniform fluid stream are examined. The angle of attack induced due to the motion of the cylinder in the fluid stream is small and negligible in the analysis. The motion of the cylinder is described by a system of first order ordinary differential equations. The linearized and non-linear dynamical systems are analyzed. The result for linearized system shows that regular oscillations are obtained in the phase portrait. While, all of the attracting cyclic orbits for the non-linear system are limit cycles. No chaotic oscillation was found in the present work for the control parameters we have been studied.
