And the effect of inletvelocity and the effect of height of air conditioner are also discussed. Numerical simulation is performed to study all the effects in this thesis. For simplicity, the average value and standard deviation are utilized in revealing the state and distribution of air temperature and velocity in a three dimensional cooling room. It is concluded that installing a heat body inside a cooling room will increase the equilibrium temperature by 0.6(C to 1.0(C in the occupied zone. The decrease of inlet velocity will increase the time needed to achieve the equilibrium temperature. ABSTRACT This study presents the field distribution of
temperature and the variation of air temperature and velocity
during the cooling process in the occupied zone of a cooling
room with a heat body. And the effect of inletvelocity and the
effect of height of air conditioner are also discussed.
