Summary: | 碩士 === 大同工學院 === 機械工程學系 === 85 === This research is to analyze the effect of tool geometry
radius systematically. The selected parameters of this
experiment are the control contact length, the second
rake angle, the tool nose radius, the width of
chip breaker groove and the radius of chip breaker
groove. The experiment design matrix of five parameters
is disposed by Response Surface Methodology (R.S.M.). The
prediction model of tool geometry on chip radius is
established from the SAS regression. Then the
significant parameters of tool geometry parameters on chip
radius and the reliability of the prediction model are
investigated by SAS software. The width of chip breaker
groove and the radius of chip breaker groove affect
obviously the chip radius shown in the analysis. The adequacy
of this prediction model is also examined by F-ratio test
and trial sets. Therefore the best design of tool geometry is
obtained by this prediction model.
