When network bandwidth gets more considerable ( since ATM network technology was proposed in 1993's), the applications about real-time service are getting more popular and important. We hope that users can use to pre-reserve the network resource and preserve the resource for a long time we wished. Of course, we would not like to west the network bandwidth. In this thesis, we use a dynamic ATM network model as our simulation model. In this simulation model, three environments, LAN, MAN and WAN, are simulated to illustrate the reservation cell loss rate. On our proposal, several scenarios are assumed as our retry reservation cell scheme. The purpose of this thesis is to hope to reduce the reservation cell fail rate by some methods.
