By means of this, to describe how college female students build up their meaning, value system and gender subjectivity at a specific history stage, and the funcation of the space form on such social process.   This thesis took the TamKang University female students as the samples to do the research at which Qualitative Analysis Method was applied with in-depth interview to record the consuming space expericence of the college female students; while on the space image investigation, it applied the drawing of cognition picture method to understand their cognition and organization toward the city.There were total 12 female students having been interviewed on the process of this research.   This thesis is mainly divided into three parts, the first part is to discuss the relationship between the consumping habit and the college female students'' life, which including the importance of self-dressing consumption on everyday life, the funcation of the gender-awareness toward the slef-dressing consumption action. The second part is to discuss that in the process of learing and completing slef-dressing consumption, the space conditions and the and the characteristics of these spaces that the college female atudents shall face. The Third part is, being in a very female position, college female students'' cognition and image toward the consuming space in the process of the consumption fulfillment and space interaction.   This study indicated that to speak from those females who have been exposed to higer education, the college stage is indeed the import stage of the self-dressing consumption. At the same time, the consumption fulfillment ofself-dressing is an important path to build up the gender subjectivity for college female students''. On one hand, it has found a certain position at the patriarchal society as the realization of certain kind of existence value, to proceed to decode these commodity marks and re-form the meaning with the time and space of labor investment as a development of a correct consumping ability. On the other hand, at the consumping space, the pleasure is generated on the process of obeying or resisting the space conditions, to define the domain, sense of location through in urban space; and through the familiarity, control and use of the「prior stage」 3at the consumping spaceto express the self resisting force.
