Summary: | 碩士 === 淡江大學 === 化學學系 === 85 === A phosphorus, silicon and nitrogen containing cross-linker was derived from a hydroxy terminated polydimethylsiloxane (PDMS) and aziridine reacted with oxytrichlorophosphorus in a consecutive order, respectively. A different cross-linker might come from a different molecular weight PDMS.
The aziridinyl groups of this type cross-linkers will be stable under an alkaline solution, and become reactive toward carboxylic groups of aqueous-based polyurethanes on drying. A model reaction of formic acid with this type curing agent was demonstrated by gel permeation chromatography.
The measurements of particle distributions of PU dispersions before and after the treatment of the curing agent, in order to confirm the stability of the resulted PU dispersions. The properties on gel contents, contact angle, water-uptake, ethanol: absorption, tensile strength, dynamic mechanical behavior, as well thermogravimetric analysis of cured PU films were evaluated. A possible phase separation of PU film with this type curing agent was observed by scanning electron microscope.
