碩士 === 淡江大學 === 化學學系 === 85 === The methanol soluble part have been extracted by n-hexane and chloro-form, then add water and butanol, from the butanol soluble part of the water extract of the heartwood of Taiwain sassafras, the major compo-nents are flavonoids. Nine compounds were isolated: [A] 5,5'-di-propenyl-1,1'-biphenyl-2,2'-diol [B] 1,2β,3α,4-tetrahydro-7-hydroxy-1α-(4-hydroxy-3,5-dimethoxy-phenyl)-6,8-dimethoxy-2,3-naphthalenedimethanol [C] bis(2-ethylhexyl)phthalate [D] 2,6-dimethyl-6-hydroxy-5-alkyl-7-[N-(3',5'-dihydroxy-3', 5'-dimethyl-4'-piperidone)]-2-heptea-4-one [E] Taxifolia (Dihydroquercetin) [F] 3',4',5,7,8-pentahydroxyflavonol (dihydrogossypetin) [G] 3',4',5-trihydroxy-7-isopropoxyflavonol [H] 5,6,6a,7-tetrahydro-2,10-dimethoxy-4H-dibeazo[de, g]quinoline-1,9-diol (isoboldine) [I] 2-ethyl-2-hydroxymethyl-3-oxa-5-butyl-6-hydroxypentanoic acid-lactone All structures have been identified by spectroscopic methods. Among which, compounds[E],[H]have not been isolated from this plant before this research, and compounds[D],[F],[G]and[I]were the first molecules seperated from the natural product.
