is the study objective which their job satisfaction is the study
topic. The study consists the three theories: the first is job
satisfaction from Mr.Cheng Po-Hsun''''s case (job, raise, salary,
superiors, colleagues);the second is work stress from Mr. Chen
Su-Chang''''s case (as revise by the author:work tension, job
congeniality, job weariness) ;and the third is job
characteristics from Mr. Shen Wuen-Shu''''s case(as revise by the
author:professional skill, work friendship, performing and
self-determination). This study adopts "stratified systematic
sampling" method with proportion allocation to the service
departments of the study objects. The effective retrieve ratio
is 66.55% from 203 available samples. We approach with the
following purposes:1.To discuss the relationship between the
work stress and job characteristic. 2.To discuss the
relationship between the job satisfaction and work weariness.3.
To discuss the relationship between the job satisfaction and job
characteristics4.To discuss the influence over the reserve
officers'''' personal and unit''''s charactert- istics with his work-
stress. 5.To discuss the influence over the reserve officers''''
personal and unit''''s charactert- istics with his job-
charactertistics.6.To discuss the influence over the reserve
officers'''' personal and unit''''s character- istics with his job-
satisfaction. From the thesis we used the various statistics
methods including liability analysis, factor analysis, Pearson
correlation analysis, canonical correlation analysis, and
Bonferroni multiple comparison methods. The results of this
study are as follows:1.the reserve officers'''' work stress is no
relation to his job characteristics. 2.the reserve officers''''
job satisfaction is negative related to his work stress.3. the
reserve officers'''' job satisfaction is positive related to his
job characteristics.4. The influence over the reserve officers''''
personal and unit''''s characteristics with his work stress─
statistically significant difference be found in different
reserve officers'''' age, marriage, service seniority,position,
and the others are not. 5. The influence over the reserve
officers'''' personal and unit''''s characteristics with his job
characteristics─statistically significant difference be found
in different reserve officers'''' age, marriage, service
seniority,position,and the others are not.6. The influence over

seniority,position,and the others are not. To be concerned
the job satisfaction and correlation factor analysis as a whole,
we find the results from the study:1. In the aspect of job
satisfaction:Generally speaking, reserve officers are
satisfied with their job especially the salary. The promotion
stands far behind. 2. In the aspect of work stress:Most reserve
officers suppose they are not under pressure, but some officers
get weary from their work.3. In the aspect of job charactistics
:Most reserve officers are benefited from the friendship, but
an autonomous task should be strengthened.
