The aerodynamic pressure may be considered as a white noise or non- white noise Gaussian process and the in-plane force is simulated to be a small randomness white noise Gaussian process . In the analysis , the variances of displacement responses of the plate are evaluated by the recursive method . The effects of small randomness on the in-plane forces are investigated by using the perturbation technique . The response statistics of plate are also determined as functions of length-to-width ratio , mean of in-plane forces , aerodynamic pressure parameter , and air-to- structure mass ratio .
