Furthermore,the information (data) obtained from the deviation analysis can be used tocomplete a finished machining on the workpie ce or to proceed the subsequent amendment on CAD model. A first step of the deviation analysis is to form a basis with respect to the comparison between the product and the prototype. Then, a transformation matrix is obtained and used to proceed a coordinate transformation on the point data from the prototype to the product in accordance with the same coordinate system therebetween.The subjects of this thesis comprises:(1) proceeding the ante-process on the point data and constructing the B-spline surface;(2) determining the required inspection points of thdeviation analysis according to the statistics;(3) applying Simplex method mated with the least squareroot method to obtain three translation parameters and three rotation parameters; and (4) proceeding the deviation analysis and showing the tolerance values.
