Furthermore,the information (data) obtained from the deviation analysis can be used tocomplete a finished machining on the workpie ce or to proceed the subsequent amendment on CAD model. A first step of the deviation analysis is to form a basis with respect to the comparison between the product and the prototype. Then, a transformation matrix is obtained and used to proceed a coordinate transformation on the point data from the prototype to the product in accordance with the same coordinate system therebetween.The subjects of this thesis comprises:(1) proceeding the ante-process on the point data and constructing the B-spline surface;(2) determining the required inspection points of thdeviation analysis according to the statistics;(3) applying Simplex method mated with the least squareroot method to obtain three translation parameters and three rotation parameters; and (4) proceeding the deviation analysis and showing the tolerance values. In addition to the discussion on the basic theory and algorithm, the present thesis submit with the experimental data to support the feasibility thereof.
