be changed into easy operation bywell-designed
operational graphical control software. Todevelop the object-
oriented icon control under the Windowsenvironment is the trend
of future development. This paperuses the object-oriented
design under the Visual BasicWindows operational environment to
develop the graphical control software of an electro_press. The
software offerssuch functions as edit、operate、teach、home、
parameter、graphical、simulate， and so on. The users does not
need aprofession background and take little time to become
familiarwith the operation .Finally, we applied this designed
graphicalcontrol software for an electro-press to do accurate
positionfixing and to track the designed profile in the press
process.The result is good. It is valuable for developing
economic controlsoftware.
