Summary: | 碩士 === 國立台灣工業技術學院 === 機械工程技術研究所 === 85 === In the manufacturing process of mechanical components,tolernace
chart plays an important role to support processplanning and
quality control. This work presents the studyof computer-aided
design for two-dimensional tolerance charting.For a component
with its surfaces not perpendicular to each other,nominal cuts
and tangential cuts will change its vertical andhorizontal sizes
including both dimensions and tolerances.Analytical study of
these changes forms the basis of thetwo-dimensional tolerance
charting. In order to assign proper process tolerance and stock
removal for eachmanufacturing process, optimization techniques
are applyto search for the design corresponded to the least
manufacturingcost. In comparing to the previous design packages,
the new software developed by this work has significant
improvementin man-machine interface and can be executed under
the WINDOWenvironment. The use of Object Linked and Emmbedded
techniquesis the key issue to obtain a good connection between
different design modules.
