Shorten product developmentcycle time turns out to be one of a deciding issue for the survival of anenterprise. Rapid change management is a critical task to reduce the cycle time. In this paper, an intelligent change management support environment is proposed. Two major models are provided by this system to assist change management. One is a Constraint Network Model which analyzes the related constraint conditions about a design change to find the will extract the design data from a CAD database to analysis the spatial relationships about an assembly. The data in the above two models are integrated in an Data Integrated Model, in which an entity relationships data model was developed to described the integrated data. Finally, a web based query system was developed to provide a multi platforms environment for user to refer the data in Constraint Network Model and Product Assembly Model during a design change process.
