| Summary: | 碩士 === 國立臺灣科技大學 === 電機工程技術研究所 === 85 === ATM networks, the concept of "virtual path" greatly simplifies cell processing on switches; and resources management strategies make VC connection to be established more fast and efficient.Virtual path constitution method and resources management allocation strategy greatly affects the efficiency of the system operation. So this paper proposes a new architecture and the corresponding virtual path constitution method. We discuss different characters in this model, beside, bandwidth control method, rerouting strategy, and resource management methods have been studied. Finally, some data concerned about performance, such as bandwidth utilization by using simulation. We can use it to evaluate advantages and disadvantages for those strategies.
