碩士 === 國立臺灣科技大學 === 電機工程技術研究所 === 85 === Many kinds of table-form documents are used in a modern company. The volume of information is very high. With the aid of the rapid development in computer systems and their peripheral devices, digitized table-form records can store/retrieve information more efficiently than typical table-form records. We propose the application of document analysis to the management of the vast number of documents. In this study, we have completed the following tasks: 1.Image Preprocessing, 2.Recognition of Table-Form Structure, 3.Field Localization & Data Extraction. The table structure tree proposed by the thesis can express the topological structure of table, and it may be used for recognition of table structure.Finally, we implemented the prototype of new automated table-form document management systems.
