Summary: | 碩士 === 國立臺灣科技大學 === 電機工程技術研究所 === 86 === This thesis presents the analysis and design of a single-phase reversible rectifier and combines the operations of converter and inverter to complete an uninterruptible power supply system with dual power conversion feature. The current control method is adopted to control the AC/DC dual power conversion of a half-bridge switch-mode rectifier and a boost and buck DC chopper. The fact that both the rectifier and inverter are in the same structure results in high overall operating efficiency. As the utility power service is in operation, the harmonic distortion of input current will be reduced and the utility side will possess near-unity power factor. Meanwhile, the proposed system will provide stable DC power to the DC chopper in order to store the energy in the battery. All the control signals of the half-bridge switch-mode rectifier are generated by digital controller. On the other hand, when power failure occurs, the energy of the battery can be extracted quickly and transferred to the utility side with sinusoidal waveform by half-bridge switch-mode rectifier . A digital signal processor is used to implement digitized control of the proposed system in order to increase the control precision. Computer simulations and experiments are given to justify the analysis.
