Description
Summary:碩士 === 國立臺灣大學 === 化學工程學研究所 === 85 === In this research TPA method was used to study PET esterification and polycondensation. Our results revealed that adding Sb2O3 catalyst before esterification and adding EG before polycondensation would both promote the reaction rates of esterification and polycondensation. Besides, pretreated Sb2O3 with ethylene glycol and BHET oligomer at 170℃ for 0.5 hour, and added it after esterification, it was observed that the polycondensation rate was increased. In cocatalyst system, our results revealed that adding Sb-Co cocatalyst system before esterification would both promote the reaction rates of esterification and polycondensation. The cocatalyst calcined at temperatures equal or less than 400℃ possessed better activities than pure Sb2O3; the 400℃ calcined cocatalyst had the best catalytic performance. During the characterization of Sb-Co cocatalyst system by XRD and TPR, the interaction between Sb and Co in cocatalyst after 200℃ calcination can be observed. The interaction became more obviously after calcined at 300-400℃. From the XRD patterns, we found that Sb had converted into Sb2O4 after calcined at 500℃.
