Summary: | 碩士 === 國立臺灣大學 === 藥學系 === 85 === Lauraceous plants of Litsea genus are noted for the existence
of various isoquinolines. Except this, only few studies were
undertaken on other constituents. To fill in this vacancy and
explore further the potential of these natural resources, this
thesis was aimed to study for the first time the chemical
ingredients in Litsea lancifolia (Roxb.ex Nees) Benth. et Hook.
f. ex F. Vill. The alcoholic extracts from the stems of this
plant were triturated with water,5% HOAc, and 50% MeOH/ water in
sequence. The final residue was subsequently fractionated with
n-hexane, chlorform and methanol. The chloroform soluble
fraction was chromatographed repeatedly over silica gel column,
Sephadex LH-20 column, HPLC and preparative TLC. These efforts
led to the isolation of 14 compounds.
The structural elucidation of these compounds was identified by
spectral analysis(mainly 1H-NMR, 13C-NMR and 2D NMR). According
to the structures, these compounds were classified into four
categories:
1. Aliphatic compounds and their derivatives:
2. butyl stearate (1), 1-hexacosanol (2), (-hydroxy
hexacosanoic acid (3), tetracosanyl cis-ferulate (4),
tetracosanyl trans-ferulate (5), 28-feruloyloxy octacosanoic
acid 1-monoglyceride (6).
2.Lignans:
9''-O-trans-feruloyl-5,5''-dimethoxy-lariciresinol
(7) , 9,9''-O-diferuloyl-secoisolariciresinol (8), 9,9''-O-
diferuloyl-5,5''-dimethoxy-secoisolariciresinol (9)
3. 3.Alkaloids:
thalbaicaline (10), atheroline (11),
dehydrothalbaicaline (12).
4. Lactonic compounds:
litsenolide B2 (13), compound (14).
To our knowledge, compounds (12) and (14) are novel natural
products.
