Summary: | 博士 === 國立臺灣大學 === 藥理學研究所 === 85 === YC-1, a derivative of benzylindazole , activates soluble
guanylate cyclase (sGC) of human platelets by a NO-independent
mechanism, and exerts its inhibitory effects on platelet
aggregation and adhesion through the sGC/cGMP pathway.
Furthermore, YC-1 is an effective antigyrombotic agent in
preventing thrombosis in animal models , and its
antiaggregating and additional prefibrinolytic efectsmay be of
potential clinical benefit in the treatment of thromboembolic
diseases.
