Summary: | 碩士 === 國立臺灣大學 === 資訊工程學系 === 85 === Defined by the International Telecommunications Union(ITU), T.120 is a family
of standards for data conferencing. Owing to the layered architecture, T.120
provides applications with the following key benefits:
multipoint data delivery,
reliable data delivery, network transparency, and application independence.
However, T.120 does not guarantee anything about QoS(quality of service). In
this paper, we propose a model which provides bandwidth guarantee. It is
achieved by two steps: bandwidth reservation and scheduling. Besides providing
bandwidth guarantee, the whole model is based on the original
T.120 and does not
violate rules defined in T.120.
