Description
Summary:博士 === 國立臺灣大學 === 經濟學系 === 85 === We present here two old age security hypothesis models. The uncertainty ofincome is discussed in the first model while in the second model, we focuson the uncertainty of lifetime. In both models we conclude that old pensions decrease fertility. According to empirical analysis based onTaiwan''s data, we find that the occupation as a government employee hasa negative impact on fertility. Thus we expect old pensions would furtherreduce fertility in the future.
