First, a primitive study was conducted on 25 internet banks. The researcher analyzed these banks and classified their security into two types:1. System security, which means the security of network transmission and computer systems.2. Transaction security, which means the insurance and assurance of bank transactions. Each type has three security levels. This thesis hypothesizes the security levels affect user''s risk perception and acceptance. This thesis also hypothesizes users'' involvement and their internet experiences have impact holding security levels the same. The researcher created an experimental internet bank and conducted an experiment to test the hypothesis. The results are the following:1. Users consider the bank more risky when system security levels are higher. However, transaction security does not have the same impact.2. Involved users consider the bank more risky than uninvolved users holding security levels the same. However, systems security does not have the same impact.3. If personal factors are ignored, security levels do not affect acceptance. 4. Involvement does not affect acceptance holding security levels the same.5. Users'' internet experience affects acceptance holding security levels the same. System security encourages acceptance in experienced users but discourages inexperienced users.6. There is a negative relationship between users'' perceived risk and their acceptance. Wu Tsong-Fan 吳琮璠 1997 學位論文 ; thesis 110 zh-TW |

碩士 === 國立臺灣大學 === 會計學系 === 85 === This study investigates the impact of internet bank security
on users'' risk perception and acceptance. First, a primitive
study was conducted on 25 internet banks. The researcher
analyzed these banks and classified their security into two
types:1. System security, which means the security of network
transmission and computer systems.2. Transaction security,
which means the insurance and assurance of bank transactions.
Each type has three security levels. This thesis hypothesizes
the security levels affect user''s risk perception and
acceptance. This thesis also hypothesizes users'' involvement and
their internet experiences have impact holding security levels
the same. The researcher created an experimental internet
bank and conducted an experiment to test the hypothesis. The
results are the following:1. Users consider the bank more risky
when system security levels are higher. However, transaction
security does not have the same impact.2. Involved users
consider the bank more risky than uninvolved users holding
security levels the same. However, systems security does not
have the same impact.3. If personal factors are ignored,
security levels do not affect acceptance. 4. Involvement does
not affect acceptance holding security levels the same.5. Users''
internet experience affects acceptance holding security levels
the same. System security encourages acceptance in
experienced users but discourages inexperienced users.6.
There is a negative relationship between users'' perceived risk
and their acceptance.
