First of all,it analyzes the corresponding acoustic field of a rectangular ductand makes the involved simulation in progress. Regarding the required algorithm of control system,a multi- channel LMS oneis adopted.Meanwhile,we use the algorithm to construct the required system andexperiment involved in this study.Also,we use microphones just downstream thenoise source to measure the signal produced by it.In order to reduce the effect of acoustic feedback,a passive noise control system is placed afore in the duct. The result of this study shows that the attenuation of sound intensity level by 20dB are reached for pure-tone sounds below the cut-off frequency corresponding to the second mode. K. T.
