Description
Summary:碩士 === 國立臺灣大學 === 畜產學系 === 85 === Ten Blood protein polymorphism was analysed by means of electrophoresis fordetecting the gene frequencies of Tf, Ptf1, Ptf2, Alb, Pa, Hb, CA, PGD and PHI as genetic markers in four- hundred and six blood sample of Taiwan Yellow cattle, exotic cattle and their crossing breeds in Taiwan. Their phenotypes, genetypes and gene frequencies were estimates in order to analysis the genetic component, genetic variability and genetic similarity among these 11 populations. The phenotype of AlbBX was only found in Taiwan Yellow cattle. The gene of HbC which was found only in Bali cattle by former workers, has shown its existence in Taiwan Yellow cattle . The frequence of HbC was 0.161. PGD and PHI were monopholic among these cattles. The expected mean heterozygosity was estimated according to the gene frequencies. It was found that the genetic variance was higher in Taiwan Yellow cattle(0.316), and was lower in Hostein(0.096). The genetic distance between populations was estimated according to Nei(1978) method. The cluster analysis was carried out by the group average genetic distance. The results revealed that these 11 populations can be divided into two groups. One is including Taiwan Yellow cattle, Kinmen Yellow cattle, and their hybrids, Brahman, Brahman-Yellow cattle hybrids . The other group can be further devided into two sub-group. One sub-group is including Hostein from National Taiwan University, Hostein from Taiwan Livestock Research Institute and Hostein-Jersey hybrids. The other sub-group is composed of Santa Gertrudis, Santa-Yellow cattle hybrids, and Wagyu-Yellow cattle hybrids.
