This Thesis contains five chapters. The first chapter,[The
Preface],observes s the epoch which Han-Fei lived at first and
then observe the experiences and d characteristics of Han-Fei
and finally a crossreference is made with the situ- - ation of
the mother-land of Han-Fei,State of Han. The second chapter,
[The e Philosopht of Han-Fei],approaches the theoretical
basis for the ideology of Han- Fei;his point of view on human
nature,value,history and country;and the source e for the
ideology of Han-Fei.The most important point of the ideology of
Han-Fei iis on political thought;with analyzing his political
thought from three ways,the Laws,the Tactics and the powers;and
discusses his economical thought and educat- ional thought.
The third chapter,[The Proses of Han-Fei],is to understand d
firstly the from and characteristics of the prose in the Epoch
of Spring and d Autumn.and the Epoch of Warring States,
andthen,reviews the prose of Han-Fei from the aspect of mode and
style.Besides his literary point of ''connotation out-wei- ghting
wording''has magnificent influence to his articles and other
thoughts,ther-efore,an observation is made to his utilitarian
view of literature. The fourth chapter,[The Fablesof Han-Fei],
discusses the definition of fable,the reason it t developed and
the source and characteristics of the Fables of Pre-Chin Epoch.
. Then,concerning the fables of Han-Fei,observing from the
source of its material, the contains of main theme of the Fables
can be categorized into three categori- es;philosophical fabie,
political fable and experience learning fable;and analyzesits
meaning from every point of view.Moreover,from the aspect of
form,observes s the ''Ney,Way Chwu Chuo''and''Chuo Lin'',the
independent fable style created by Han- Fei.Then,reviews the
literary achievement of the fables of Han-Fei;the fables s with
the magnificent character of realistic and to the point and by
using the e literary skill such as ingenious metaphors,
successfully creating numerous fables with rich philosophy,
ironical and human.In the mean time,discusses the influence of
his fables to the next generations and observes the changes of
the fables of fthe Post-Warring Epoch influenced by his fables.
The fifth chapter,[The Con- clusion],concludes the
characteristics of the ideology of Han-Fei,his Proses and
Fables.
