Summary:碩士 === 國立臺灣大學 === 土木工程學系 === 85 === This paper presents a study for the optimination design investigation on the reinforced concrete ,including the liner & nonlinear structual anaysis a-s well as aseismic capacity study for the bridge of The Second Freeway proj-ects near Kee-Long. The developed software GRG2 program is adopt in this study for the optim-ination design to obtain the optimal sections.For the various dynamic proper-ties of the arch bridge in the linear structual analysis ,SAP90 program is u-sed.In the nonlinear structual analysis ,DRAIN 2D+ program is used for findi-ng the nonlinear behaviors and the failure types of the optimination of the arch bridge .Finally ,obtaining the maximun Peak Ground Acceleration(PGA) forthe bridge ,and comparing with previous one. In the result of this optimination study ,the depthes of the center segme- nt of the arch and the columns that between arch & the surface of the bridge are found to be 1.75m & 0.7m in stead of original ones in 2m & 0.8m respecti-vely. In the result of aseismic study ,the bridge will fail at the PGA reaching 0.45g which is higher than the original one that will fail at the PGA is 0.34gby applying seismic loading of El Centro .If the bridge is improved for du- ctility in columns ,then the optimal improved brdige will fail as PGA at 0.79g still higher than the original one which will fail as PGA at 0.7g.
