The purposes of this study were to understand the relationshipbetween folkore and education; I took various points to anayzed it, and placed the Han-Dan-Yea folk activity points to the possibility contribution of reconstrcting the Han-Dan-Yea flok activity; lastly,I provided the research results to suggest the development of Han-Dan-Yea folk activity in future. The dala-collection tools in this study include history survey、 fieldwork、questionnaire surver. Firstly, I used the history survey to induce this area research in the past and analyzed the results and the shortage of them. Secondly, in the fieldwork, I used the partici-pant observation and depth interrview to collect the history of Han-Dan-Yea belief、the process of the fire explosion rite、the opinions of the relative people in the activity.... and so on . Lastly, I used the questionnaire survey to investigate the cognition and attitude of the common people、 businessmen、and teachers to Han-Dan-Yea folk acti-vity in taitung. To synthesis my research results, it''s not difficulty for us to find that the relationship between folklore and educa tion was very close. Besides, Folklore itself had the function of education, it also could educate the involved people to produce a extensive education effect. Education could improve anachronistic folklore, it also could preserve and prmote the elegant part of folklore. But according to the analysis from the psychology of belivers、the opinions of the commonpeople, bueinessmen,teachers、and the folk religion in taiwan.I foundthat Han-Dan-Yea folk activity drew both praises and criticisms froman educational point of view. Therefore,we hoped the Han-Dan-Yea folk activity in the future could lead to a better development, and promote its good point and improve its anachronistic part by the power of education.In the meanwhile the native education at school regarded Han-Dan-Yea folk activity as the part of teaching material. National literature period was a subject for discussion about Han-Dan-Yea folk activity.In point of art,this activity was as a kind of stage play or modern poetry to display.Above ideas,we were all through the education system to promote the congition and concern of the common people in the society to Han-Dan-Yea folk activity,and offered the possibility of reconstructing this activity. At last,in order to reach the active reconstruction of this activity,I offered some suggestions to Han-Dan-Yea folk activity in the future as following: 1.The future activity should lead to systematizaiton. 2.To improve the nature of bilief itself. 3.By the power of education reconstruction,we must promote the activity content,and make it blend with the community.Then it will become the same menory of taitung people, and make up a fund to feedback the society.
