Summary:碩士 === 國立海洋大學 === 造船工程學系 === 85 === This thesis presents a method to predict noise level by measured acceleration data. The methodis based on computed natural vibrational modes of the radiator in connection with the BoundaryElement Method. A singular Value Decomposition is applied to determine the surface response of the radiator under a mono-frequency in a sense of least mean-square error. Once the surface normal velocity is determined by the SVD the radiated acoustic power is computed accordingly.It is demonstrated that the accuracy of the computed radiated pressure is due to the selection of those natural vibration modes which radiateacoustic powers.
