The purpose of the thesis is to perform the dynamics analysis of the large cavitation tunnel of the National Taiwan Ocean University. The analysis is performed by using the software package of Finite Element Methods, ANSYS. The structure is modeled by shell elements and beam elements and the acoustic medium is using a 3-D acoustic element. The in-vacuo structure's natural vibration frequencies and natural modes are computed and compared to the data obtained by the ANSYS analysis using the model provided by USDDC. A reasonable correction was observed. The consequent analysis is the natural vibration of the structure-acoustic coupled system. The natural vibration frequencies under the acoustic loading were computed which showed lower values than the natural frequencies without the effect of water.
