Description
Summary:碩士 === 國立臺灣師範大學 === 化學學系 === 85 === Among many plasticizers available, phthalate seters (PAEs) are most commonly used in plastic industry, especially as PVC additives.Becaus of the wide applications of plastic products, this type of plasticizer interacts with different media in the environment and causes pollution problems. Although the acute toxicity of phthalate esters is not obvious, possible chronic effects due to bioaccumulation and biomagnification have been well documented by researchers. These include growth inhibition, mutagenic, teratogenic and carcinogenic effects.Nevertheless, various phthalate esters are actually involved in the production different plastics.It-is therefore essential to develop analytical methods to differentiate these compounds. This research aims at the development of new pretreatment extraction technique, ASE (Accelerated Solvent Extraction) for 12 PAEs in soil and sediment samples, and analytical scheme using isotope dilution GC-MS.Results indicate that ASE is an efficient, solvent-saving and fast method for the extraction of soil and sediment samples for PAE determination. The overall accuracy and precision of this method is verified with the analyses of QCS 345 samples from ERA.
