Mixed-ligand dipicolinato oxovanadium(IV) complexes of the type VO(dipic)(L) and VO(dipic)(LL), where dipic=dipicolinate; L=pyridine (py), 4-methylpyridine (4Mpy), 1-methylimidazole (NMIm), 4 (5)-methylimidazole(4MImH), β-picoline (2Mpy), LL=1, 10-phenanthroline (phen), 2, 2'-bipyridine (bipy), 2-aminomethylpyridine (2ampy) and neocuproine (neoc), have been synthesized and characterized by elemental analyses, IR, UV-VIS, and EPR spectroscopic measurements。
