Using finite element method to investigate the contact stress of roller gear cams requires the exact coordinates of the contact points. The program for automatic meshing of the finite element models of roller gear cams is coded. Using FEA software Marc, the contact stress between the roller and the cam can be evaluated. Comparing with the results which were obtained by using finite element analysis and Hertz contact theory for various dimensions of rollers and cams, the modified equations are then obtained in this study. The modified equation might be useful in roller gear cam design. Tsai, Ying-Chien 蔡穎堅 1997 學位論文 ; thesis 71 zh-TW |
