Part of this is due to success in making composite materials that are chiral at microwave frequencies [1-3] . This thesis investigates the propagation of electromagnetic wave in chiral media. This medium possesses chirality. There exist two characteristic waves, each has its own propagation constant. We start with the constitutive relation of the media. From Bohren decomposition, the electric field and the magnetic field are then separated. According to the method of Mie series solution, solve the series solution for scattering from a multi-layer concentric (PEC-Isotropic-Chiral) sphere. Discuss some examples about different chiral parameters that influence the values of the radar cross section in specific frequency range (2-20GHz), and use the geometry optic approximation to confirm the results.
