However, the software techniques could not be promoted the same speed as the hardware. 　　Today, government and enterprise seriously considered their business computerization as an urgent and important policy, but they have already deeply depended on computers for a long time. 　　Also, their systems become so complexity that traditional software techniques could not meet such huge challenge. A new generation of software techniques, like object-oriented technique, were researched and produced under such situation. 　　For its convention features of reusability, the object-oriented technique has been widely used in recent years to solve software development bottlenecks, reduce development cost and schedule. 　　Also, it gradually replaces the role of traditional software techniques and becomes a major software development product. 　　The purpose of this study is to analyze and summary five of the current and most popular object-oriented methods-Rumbaugh''s OMT, Booch''s OOA/OOD, Shlaer and Mellor''s OOSA, Rational''s UML, Yourdon''s Mainstream Objects and select the optimum model--a model combines Mainstream Objects and data dictionary with proper modifications. 　　In order to integrate the theory and implementation, a case study--「Military Travel and Missed Chow Fees Control System」was actually developed according to the improved Mainstream Objects method, the standard software development procedures, and an assumed powerful object-oriented language-PowreBuilder.
