For simplified the adjusted procedure of fuzzy controller applied in the experiment, let the adjustment of system parameters become more tractable and convenience. A new structure for self-tuning fuzzy controller is proposed in this thesis. It utilizes the inference method of Sugeno as system basis. And, a new adjusted mechanism is created by fuzzy logic which is used for modifying the consequence of rules. The goal is to improve the quality of the proposed controller. In this way, it makes the system posses a on-line self-tuning capability. The strategy of self-tuning is a method to improve the control quality. It makes the controller posses the capability of self-correcting to improve the drawback of undesirable parameters. In this project, we utilize a seesaw balancing control system to examine the control quality, and compare the ability with a general fuzzy controller using the simulation.
