"Drinking Alone Under The Moon" is an orchestral composition
forsoprano and orchestra which has only one movement. The texts
were excerpted from Chinese ancient poetry in T'ang Dynesty,
composed byLi Po and named "Drinking Alone Under The Moon".
In this piece,composer tried to express imageries in the poem
bysound-shaping. The designs of musical structural forms were
suggestedby the syntax and imagery in T'ang poetry. And the
performing style ofsoprano was expressed by discussing the role
of poet in the poem.
