Summary: | 碩士 === 國立體育學院 === 體育研究所 === 85 === The purposes of this study were: (1)to compare the difference of task performance between different goal setting styles; (2)to explore the predicting effect of achievement motivation, supportive, behavior, and goal difficulty on soft shooting performance under participatively set goal condition; (3)to explore the predicting effect of achievement motivation, goal acceptance , and goal difficulty on soft shooting performance under assigned goal condition; (4)to compare the differences of intrinsic motivation between different goal attainment under different goal setting condition. There were 110 subjects drawn from Taipei Physical Education College & Sports, and softball shooting was used as the experimental task. All the subjects were divided into assinged goal group and participatively set goal group by the yoke form with pretest. The instruments administered to the subjects were Participatively Set Goal Questionnaire, Supportive Behavior Inventory, Goal Acceptance Inventory, Sport Achievement Motivation Inventory, Goal Assigned Checking Questionnaire. The collect data were analyzed by repeated t-test, multiple simultaneous regression analysis, independent t-test.
The main findings of this study as follows: (1)There was no difference of softball shooting performance between participatively set goal group and assigned goal group. (2)Subjects'' achievement motivation, supportive behavior, and goal difficulty could effectively predict their task performance and intrinsic motivation in participatively set goal group. (3)Subjects'' achievement motivation, goal acceptance, and goal difficulty could not effectively predict their task performance and intrinsic motivation in assigned goal group. (4)There was no difference of intrinsic motivation between different goal attainment under assigned goal condition and participatively set goal condition.
Based on the findings, some explanations were offered, and applications of the study were discussed Finally, some suggestions were for the future study offered.
