Description
Summary:碩士 === 國立成功大學 === 機械工程學系 === 85 === In this study, we had investigated the combustion characteristics of two interacting laminar premixed flames by changing the separation distance of two slot burners. In the experiment, the observation of flame appearance and the flame height measurement are obtained by a serics direct photographs; the temperature measurement is achieved by using a thin silica-coated thermocouple; and the concentration distribution is measured by using a gas chromatography(GC) in cooperated with off-line microprobe sampling and injection methods. Results show that, the flames height depended on the separation distance and the mixture compositions of two slot burners, and that there is an optimum separation providing entrainment of ambient air to achieve a higher value of maximum temperature and a larger high-temperature zone with a higher burning intensity. We also found that, it is difficult for the ambient air to diffuse to the center of the flow field because of the diffusion flame, consequently the concentration distributions are mainly dominated by the reaction products. Moreover, in the region between the premixed flame and diffusion flame, the CO2/CO ratio indicated whether the reaction is complere. We can say that, in proper separation distance, the value is higher, and there is a larger high-temperature zone. In the future, we will combine this study with the heating efficiency research so as to identify the optimum heating condition and provide the basis for domestic stove design.
