With the development of network and multimedia in a relentless speed, the combination of these two becomes even closer than ever. This, in addition to the increasing tendency in the application of interaction, makes the application of interactive multimedia via the network become a mature project. Group meeting system is one application of it. During the meeting, the participant require a channel that can pass on different messages and discussions, and therefore a design for a common environment of shared display is curcial to the success of group meeting system.
The present dissertation is intended to take advantage of this basic principle of shared window and to have the window in the software of the main speaker shared by other participants in the meeting. This can, on the one hand, help everyone to enjoy the benefit of display sharing; the sparker, on the other hand, can apply powerful application softwares (such as Power-Point, Netscape as well others.) in the meeting providing at the same time a sample white board for use.
