Summary: | 碩士 === 國立成功大學 === 電機工程學系 === 85 === With the advance of charge-coupled device (CCD) and digital signal processing (DSP) techniques, star trackers have been devised in recent years for positioning and attitude determination. Through star acquisition, star identification, and attitude computation, navigation solutions can be generated by a star tracker. Compared with other positioning systems, a star tracker is cost effective, highly sensitive and accurate; and it has more flexibility to develop suitable algorithm based on different principle. In this thesis, we will investigate in detail the star identification method from star catalog building, star capture, image processing, feature extraction, stars recognition to attitude determination. In particular, a method for star identification that explored the relative distance and angles between stars is proposed. The investigation sets forth on the design of a real-time system of attitude determination.
