Description
Summary:碩士 === 國立成功大學 === 航空太空工程學系 === 85 === The goal of research is to evaluate property of injection molded sandwich plate. The skin and core of this construction are made of continuous fiber composite and general plastics respectively. In general ,injection molded parts have low production rate and low strength. onthe other side, composites have high strength but long production time. Consequently, the injection molded sandwich construction combining highstrength and high production rate appear. From the results of preliminarystudy before of the mechanical properties , the tensile bending strengthare improved. The objective of this research is to evaluate the fatigueproperty and the possible failure modes under tension-tension condition. The influence of the thickness effect will be also disscussed. The scanning electronic microscope(SEM) will be used to investigate the fracture morphology. It is expected that data base of the mechanicalproperties of this new construction can be established. The results ofthis thesis reveal that the fatigue behavior of sandwich constructionis based on long fiber dominated and S-N curve descents linearly withno obvious fatigue limit.
