Description
Summary:碩士 === 國立成功大學 === 材料科學(工程)學系 === 85 === Owing to the characters of titanium and it's alloys such as, strength ,density, corrosion resistance, and biocompatibility, they were studied extensively in the dental area, and applied clinically in the human body in recent years. Since the titanium is easy to be oxidized in the high temperature, during the process of sintering porcelain on titanium a thick oxidation layer will be formed quickly on the surface, which will make the porcelain easy to be delaminated. Thus there are still lots problems with firing porcelain on titanium. Being restricted to the appearance, the titanium couldn't be used more extensively on the dental restoration. In order to overcome the problem that taking titanium as the basemetal results in the failure of coated porcelain, our experiment is trying to replace the porcelain by applying the composite resins to coat on commercial pure titanium as a restorative material. The different sand blasting pressure, and different curing condiction are selected as variables to observe the changes of bonding strength. The result shows the high roughness the high bonding strength it is. The experiment result also points that the bonding strength of composite resin/Ti is much higher than the one of porcelain/Ti, and also higher than the one of porcelain/Ni-Cr-Mo.
